Alpine Mountains On Fire!

Pretty scarey today as I see our mountains go up in flames. No homes have been lost,thankfully, and thanks to those who are fighting the flames. I walked outside about 30 minutes ago...can't sleep, and it just continues to spread. About 6:30, Jamie and Lisa were in the middle of making dinner when the police came to the door and told them they needed to evacuate in 15 minutes. Luckily dad and mom left this morning to go spend the week with Randy and Debbie in Klamath Falls, they don't know yet what has happened. I saw Mikaela's post on Facebook, and called to see if we could help, went over and helped Tammy get important papers, photos, journals, etc. and we came over to our home which is about a mile further away from the fire.  I believe it is just precautionary, but if we didn't take the time to move stuff now, and things did get worse, we would be so sad to have lost those things. It was interesting talking to Jamie and the thoughts that went through his mind about what do we grab? What is most important? Bret and Alex had camped overnight up on the mountains and Tammy hadn't heard from them since last night.  They called about 8 p.m. and said they were headed down and they were fine.
