It was time for the Indianapolis Indiana Temple Open House so Malinda and Byron and I booked our tickets and headed out. We had such a great time visiting with Brian and Lori and their family, going to the Indianapolis Speedway, and watching the preliminaries for the MotoGP, we couldn't believe how fast they go around he track, witnessed a few crashes as well.
We went and visited both of the areas Malinda served in and got to go to church on Sunday in West Lafayette and visit with some of the people Malinda grew to know and love. We got to see the Miskin's and they invited us over for dinner, also got to visit with Jonathan Goodsell who took Byron and I on a tour of Purdue University's Engineering Buildings, got to see Caleb while we were on the tour as well. What a great experience for Byron.
And what a great ending to the trip, Malinda and I got to go visit with her Mission President who took time out of his very busy schedule, go run by the temple one more time, and spend one last evening with family. Such sweet memories!
